I am type two diabetic on no medication but using diet control. Is this course ok to learn carb counting please.
Hi Anne, no this course would not be suitable for you. It is designed for people using either an insulin pump or multiple daily injections (MDI)/ basal-bolus short-acting insulin with meals and long-acting insulin once/twice a day. Most people who carbohydrate count have Type 1 diabetes. Occasionally carb-counting will be recommended for people with type 2 diabetes using basal-bolus insulin but this would only be with advice and training with your diabetes team. We have the My Type 2 Diabetes course which would be suitable for you. I hope that helps! Kirsten 🙂
